The Parish of Hampton-in-Arden lies in the heart of the green belt corridor known as the ‘Meriden Gap’, which separates the conurbations of Coventry, Solihull and Birmingham. It comprises two settlements, Hampton-in-Arden and part of Catherine-de-Barnes. It has a population of 1900 residents, the majority of whom live in the main village.

The village has 2 pubs/restaurants and a primary school which services the neighbouring villages of Barston and Bickenhill. It has a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, Post Office, library, and 7 other shops.

Hampton-in-Arden is situated on the West Coast Mainline Railway and a local station enables access to neighbouring villages and the wider rail network.
